Inkwell AI ("the app") turns your tattoo ideas into an AI-assisted concept. This policy explains what data we collect, why we process it, and your rights. Data controller: Dode Yazılım.
Data we collect
- Account information: your email address if you create an account. You can also continue as a guest (anonymous); in that case no email is collected.
- Content you create: the tattoo ideas, answers, and generated concepts (title, story, symbolism, technical specs). This content is tied to your account and belongs to you.
- Usage analytics: events such as screen views and feature usage, collected to improve the app. These events are linked to your account identifier (user ID). Not used for advertising tracking (no IDFA) and never sold.
- Crash & error diagnostics: technical diagnostic data (device type, stack trace) when the app crashes, also linked to your account identifier. Not used for advertising or behavioral tracking.
No ads, no behavioral or advertising tracking, and we never sell your data.
Why we process data
- To provide the core functionality (concept generation, saving, exporting).
- To manage your account and sync your content across devices.
- To improve the app and fix bugs.
Third-party processors
- Supabase — authentication and data storage (hosting).
- Anthropic (Claude API) — your idea input is processed to generate concept text.
- PostHog — product usage analytics, linked to your account identifier.
- Sentry — crash/error diagnostics, linked to your account identifier.
- RevenueCat / Apple App Store / Google Play — credit purchase and payment management.
These providers process data only on our behalf, for the purposes described here.
Retention & deletion
Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account from within the app (Settings → Privacy & data → Delete my account); this permanently removes all your content within 30 days. Credits are one-time purchases — account deletion also forfeits any unused credits, which are non-refundable.
Your rights (GDPR / KVKK)
- Access and export your data (Settings → Export data).
- Request correction and deletion.
- Object to processing.

Children's privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you in-app of material changes.
